<p>This course provides a good grounding in the principles of data protection. At Network Rail we manage large amounts of personal information and we all have a responsibility to handle this in a fair, accountable and safe way. From May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR - will provide greater protection for individuals&rsquo; personal information along with more responsibility for organisations holding it. So it&rsquo;s important we know what to do.</p>
